CDM Designer version 1 released 15/01/08.
The designer module is aimed at Architects and Consultants as defined by CDM 2007 approved code of practice (ACOP). The software has been created from the designer's perspective to aid them in their duties under the regulations without creating unnecessary paperwork. The program is faithful to the revised CDM regulations in trying to encourage the designer to think about the inherent risks in a project. Whilst we provide extensive guidance for the creation of risk assessments the primary goal is for the software to provide an audit trail to show the designer has fulfilled their obligations in hazard elimination and risk reduction. |
